A Day In The Life/My Blog

                                                                   2/19/2013

Today is 4:51 pm and the only eventful thing that has happened today is something that I can not speak of.  It's domestic related and domestic means personal.
If there was one thing to express today it would be that I realized my brother and sister in law own the movie FireProof.  If none of you have seen it you don't know what your missing out on.  It's about a man and a woman who are having domestic problems and neither one of them show the other respect.  The woman doesn't show her husband respect, because he focuses on the boat he wants to buy and puts away a third of his salary in savings for it.  Because of this she has to work more hours at the hospital.  He also dishonors their marriage by watching pornography.
He thinks that she needs to show him respect because of his job at saving as a fireman, who saves lives.  He doesn't communicate with her at all and expects her to do everything.  It is a heart wrenching, eye opening story of two people who move from a divorce, and in finding God realize how great he is and how he can take such a hopeless situation and bless it abundantly.
A few places to check this movie out would be YouTube and Amazon.
I know that you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

I woke up a little grouchy this morning, as I always do when I'm woke up by loud noises.  My nephews who are 2 and 4 will be little boys and run around at full speed and plop down beside you.  I love them, but sometimes the high energized level that they function on becomes slightly over whelming and it's especially difficult when you get woke up to this.  How ever, God gave me a little blessing that instantly changed my mood.  I was staying the night at my Sister and Brother-in-laws house and their little dog, which is a Bulldog/Dotson mix is sick.  My own dog had gone through a similar sickness and my Nanny(grandmother) had given me a few tips on what to give him.
Last night I had given their dog these things and first thing this morning after I had been woke up I heard little toe nails on the linoleum floor.  Something ran past me and I felt it plop down beside me.  I rolled over to look and it was this puppy.  I could still make out the bones in his body, but his stomach was very round like a little fat puppy is supposed to be.  So that made me so happy.  The puppy was eating and drinking water last night, so with that and how better he seems. This morning it gives me hope.

We have prayed, as well.  The Bible says that God sent his word so that we could be healed: -
Hebrew 11:1 -Now, faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
